Nidia Ramirez is the president of AMUCAFLOME, a cooperative association that promotes female ownership and encourages females from the Ortega region of Tolima, Colombia. Nidia also owns and operates with her husband William the farm Los Laureles - La Arabia, in Ortega. A very simple washed coffee, hand picked, with bonuses paid to pickers for turning in only the ripest cherries. An easy 22-24 hrs in a fermentation tank, with water. Pulped with a traditional de.pulper, which removes the skin. Washed again with clean mountain water and dried slowly on raised beds. From this most simple process, with the addition of meticulous picking and care for the land and soil, is produces this spectacular coffee which we have the honor of sharing with you.
